For anxious law firms, there's good news: corporate clients still need help.

History shows that in times of economic crisis, in-house departments often lean harder on their outside partners.

But there's a catch. For the first time, law firms are no longer the only outside partner in town.

This 30-minute B+B Futurecast was presented by Brad Blickstein, co-head of Baretz+Brunelle's NewLaw practice. Attendees gained an understanding of:

  • Why law departments will be looking to send out work on an unprecedented level
  • What types of work are ripe for law firms to take over
  • How firms can compete with the Big Four, ALSPs and other new competitors to win

As the co-head of Baretz+Brunelle’s NewLaw practice group, Brad Blickstein helps clients see the future – educating them on the evolving ways that legal services are delivered and consumed. He helps position them for success by developing effective products, systems and solutions. A co-founder of Corporate Legal Times (now Inside Counsel), Brad is well known as the publisher of two long-running surveys that provide highly valued market intelligence to the legal community: the Annual Law Department Operations Survey, and the Annual Legal Spend Survey. In 2019, he launched the Legal AI Efficacy Report.
