Senior Director, Digital Marketing

Baretz+Brunelle is looking for a talented and creative senior-level digital marketing professional to join its award-winning national strategic communications firm and thriving digital team. The Senior Director, Digital Marketing acts as a day-to-day client liaison and digital representative integrated with the PR team. Working under the direction of the Chief Digital Officer, this role maps out and manages project plans in relation to the larger developed strategy, integrates with the PR teams as needed, and acts as the client liaison for project/campaign information sharing, ideation, and problem-solving. The Senior Director will partner with, and oversee, a Digital Associate.

Job Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day client liaison (for digital-specific work)
  • Day-to-day PR team digital representative
  • Execute programs, including:
    • Develop project plans, including timelines
    • Identify roles for each project
    • Vendor management
    • Overall project management
  • Collaborate with the Chief Digital Officer on strategy development
  • Delegate and oversee Digital Associate assignments
  • Proactively share digital concepts and recommendations to internal teams and clients
  • Coordinate creative needs with design and developer teams
  • Analytics reporting
  • Development and reviews of client deliverables
  • Ad hoc requests
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience within professional services, financial services, and legal firms or relevant agency work
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CMS/CRM platforms (e.g., Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo)
  • Holistic knowledge of digital marketing channels, strategy, technology, use cases, digital communications, and trends
  • Ability to project manage, including developing execution plans, timelines, and identifying internal and external partnership needs
  • Ability to delegate, oversee, and mentor a Digital Associate
  • Knowledge about analytics, including developing KPIs and utilizing digital data to make ongoing recommendations to clients
  • Interpersonal skills, both written and oral, to provide clients with insightful, valuable, and direct communications
  • Comfortability with managing-up to the Chief Digital Officer any issues, ideas, and strategic developments
  • Solutions-oriented and resourceful in delivery of perspectives, answers, and new ideas
  • Team player perspective to jump in where needed, get things done, and ensure consistent integration with B+B PR teams
